This project should be my first Interior Design work, I should admit I made some mistakes during the progress when we tried to push it. And fortunately now it is under building and it might open before Thanksgiving Day.

In this restaurant, I did the entire design job, from the drawings for DOB permit application, to the detailed mill work, and even the customized sink and furniture. And the problem I mentioned above was because my lack of knowledge about the code and law in New York. I forgot to do the inspection of zoning information of this project, we got this just before we submit the drawings to DOB, that the landlord hushed up that the illegal record of this case, so we had to turn to the landlord to deal with his problems and about 2 months later, we eventually can continue this project.

The first time is always the hardest one, and meanwhile you can gain the most. I think I really learned a lot from this project, and I think that combining architectural design and interior is really interesting.
